Kanpur: Ansh Tiwari’s knock of 96 runs propelled Kanpur South to defeat PAC by 7 wickets, securing a spot in the quarter-final of the Kalawati Devi Memorial cricket tournament at Kanpur South ground on Monday. PAC, batting first, accumulated 9 for 177 in 35 overs. Shivam Sharma and Anmol Ratan were their principal scorers with 44 and 34 runs respectively. Kanpur South successfully chased down the target, scoring 180 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 30.2 overs. Besides Ansh, Raunak Singh contributed 46 runs while Aman Yadav remained unbeaten at 23 runs.
